Analytical’s laboratory has been included in the list of laboratories recognized by the IOC — International Olive Council (Consiglio Oleicolo Internazionale, COI) for physicochemical analyses of olive oil, valid for the period from 1 December 2025 to 30 November 2026. International Olive Council
What does “IOC-recognized laboratory” mean?
The IOC is the intergovernmental reference organization for the olive oil and table olive sector, headquartered in Madrid.
IOC recognition is not a simple “registration”: it is linked to an assessment process that includes, among other requirements, ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and demonstrated competence in applying IOC methods through periodic evaluation schemes (check tests / proficiency tests).
Why this matters for companies producing and marketing olive oil
For supply-chain operators, being able to rely on an IOC-recognized laboratory means having:
robust and reproducible analytical results, aligned with internationally recognized methods;
practical support for quality control, compliance verification, and technical batch management;
a reliable technical reference in contexts where trustworthy data are needed for commercial relationships, audits, export activities, and product protection.
Our commitment: data quality, technical rigor, service
This recognition confirms Analytical’s commitment to maintaining high standards in terms of:
technical competence and continuous updating on test methods;
internal quality control and data traceability;
focus on turnaround times, clarity, and usability of customer reports.
