Environmental > Water
The treatment of industrial water is essential to protect the environment and water resources, as well as to ensure safe water for direct and indirect consumption.
During industrial production, wastewater is generated that can contain various pollutants, such as fats, oils, fibers, toxic substances, and metals. Our laboratories analyze the presence of heavy metals, organic compounds, and pathogenic microbes. Additionally, we evaluate the efficiency of water treatment systems, providing solutions to improve water quality.
Our laboratories specialize in:
- Analysis of Water Intended for Human Consumption
- Analysis of Wastewater and Industrial Effluents
- Analysis of Surface Water
- Legionella Detection Analysis
- PFAS Detection Analysis
- Analysis of wastewater according to sustainability specifications, e.g., ZDHC.
Analysis of Water Intended for Human Consumption
For our clients, we manage the entire analytical process from sampling to result evaluation according to current regulations for drinking water. We conduct sampling to subject samples to chemical and microbiological analyses in groundwater, using piezometer wells to access various depths of aquifers and monitor the spread of contaminants.
Analysis of Wastewater and Industrial Effluents
Our laboratory offers analytical services for determining all parameters required by current regulations concerning wastewater, as well as specific parameters in purification processes. We conduct sampling, chemical, and microbiological analyses for water intended for discharge into sewers or surface waters, from residential, industrial settlements, public purification plants, and waste treatment plants.
Analysis of Surface Water
The analysis of surface waters aims to identify and monitor the biological and chemical components of lakes, rivers, canals, transitional waters, aquifers, and springs. Different types of waters require highly qualified technicians. In our laboratories, we performsurface and groundwater analyses according to the methods definedin in APAT, IRSA-CNR, ISO, UNI, and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) manuals.
Legionella Detection Analysis
We perform analyses of surface water bodies for potabilization, aquaculture, and irrigation. Additionally, we conduct analyses for the detection of Legionella spp. in environmental samples such as drinking water, boiler waters, cooling tower waters, filters and condensate from air conditioners, water from dental offices, and more.
PFAS Detection Analysis
Perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), found in recent years in groundwater, surface water, and drinking water, are used technologically for various applications, such as the production of non-stick coatings, due to their chemical-physical properties (thermal stability, water repellency, oil repellency). Our laboratories monitor the waters of the territory, as these compounds are characterized by significant environmental persistence, associated with a notable capacity for diffusion, and tend to accumulate over time.
