Analytical Group is a ZDHC Solution Provider
We are a ZDHC partner because we share the same goals: supporting the fashion and footwear industries by reducing environmental and health risks associated with hazardous chemical substances.
We have developed specific solutions for the textile, tanning, fashion and footwear sectors. Our relationship with companies goes beyond simple compliance — we help create products that meet the demands of the modern consumer.
ZDHC is a multi-stakeholder organisation founded in 2011, and today includes over 350 Signatories from across the fashion industry, including brands, suppliers, Chemical Suppliers and Solution Providers.
ZDHC’s Mission is to lead global value chains to achieve the highest standards of sustainable chemical management, driving resource efficiency and circularity. In doing so, it contributes to ZDHC’s Vision: a world where the correct use of chemistry leads to the protection of life, land, air and water.
Tailored Services for Supply Chain Sustainability
Analytical supports the ZDHC programme with a comprehensive package of services designed to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the entire supply chain. We work alongside brands, suppliers and manufacturers with specialist services aimed at improving chemical management, monitoring compliance and supporting the journey towards ZDHC standards — from chemical input management to production process control, through to environmental output verification.
Our Services as a ZDHC Solution Provider
ChemCheck is a service designed to ensure compliance with the ZDHC MRSL, through the issuance of a verified “chemical passport” certifying formulation compliance. This document certifies that the chemical product contains no substances harmful to human health or the environment, in line with the principles of safer chemistry. By verifying the chemical inputs used in the production of fabrics, leather, accessories and footwear, ChemCheck promotes transparency throughout the entire supply chain — from chemical formulators to finished goods manufacturers, all the way to the end consumer. Choosing ChemCheck means making a concrete commitment to responsibility, demonstrating the dedication of brands and suppliers towards sustainability, regulatory compliance and traceability of chemical substances used in production processes.
ClearStream is the ZDHC programme dedicated to monitoring wastewater and sludge, designed to help companies control and reduce the environmental impact of their industrial discharges. Through periodic analysis of water and sludge from production facilities, ClearStream enables the assessment of industrial effluent quality. This monitoring is an essential step in identifying and progressively reducing the use of banned or harmful substances, promoting more responsible chemical management and improved environmental performance across the supply chain. For brands, manufacturers and suppliers in the textile, leather and footwear sectors, joining ClearStream means not only meeting the environmental requirements defined by ZDHC, but also demonstrating a genuine commitment to transparency, sustainability and responsible production practices.
Compliance with the ZDHC MRSL is today a fundamental benchmark for brands and suppliers wishing to reduce the environmental and health risks associated with chemical use. In a context where the list of restricted substances is constantly evolving, assessing chemical inventories and adopting traceable practices is essential. Through InCheck, suppliers and manufacturers can analyse their chemical inventory and clearly measure their level of compliance with the ZDHC MRSL. This process allows potential areas for improvement to be identified and concrete actions to be taken for safer, more informed and sustainable chemical management. The outcome is the generation of an InCheck Performance Report on the ZDHC Gateway — a tool that provides a structured overview of a company’s performance against ZDHC requirements and represents a key step in the chemical compliance journey.
The Supplier to Zero programme is a ZDHC initiative designed to support suppliers in assessing and improving their chemical management practices. Through a structured process, it enables facilities to measure their maturity level against ZDHC requirements and identify the actions needed to progress on their sustainability journey. Within this programme, the review service guides suppliers in assessing their positioning through a structured analysis of available documentation and evidence. This approach highlights strengths, areas for improvement and opportunities for advancement against the required standards. The review activity is therefore a practical tool for supporting companies on a more informed, transparent and responsible path, strengthening the chemical management system and fostering progressive alignment with ZDHC’s sustainability objectives.
The ZDHC Academy is the official ZDHC training platform, dedicated to brands, suppliers and stakeholders in the textile, footwear and leather sectors. Through accredited online and in-person courses, it provides practical tools for understanding and applying ZDHC guidelines in support of more responsible and sustainable production processes. As a Training Provider, Analytical delivers official ZDHC courses with a specific focus on Chemical Management and Wastewater, supporting companies in developing internal expertise and correctly implementing standards in these key areas. Participating in the ZDHC Academy means investing in training, strengthening a company’s culture of sustainability and raising the level of compliance with global standards across the entire supply chain.
Verified InCheck Level 1 is a verification service that, through an on-site audit, confirms the accuracy and reliability of the information declared in InCheck. By reviewing available documentation and conducting a direct inspection at the production site, this service assesses the consistency between what is reported and what is actually applied in the management of chemical inputs. This activity represents an important step in strengthening the credibility of shared information, increasing supply chain transparency and supporting companies in demonstrating their commitment to ZDHC requirements. The verification also helps consolidate the chemical compliance journey, providing greater robustness to the management system and a more reliable foundation for continuous improvement. Verified InCheck Level 1 is therefore a concrete tool for guiding companies towards more controlled, responsible chemical management aligned with market-required standards, while also enhancing the reliability of declared data and the level of maturity achieved on the ZDHC journey.
