We are proud to announce that the Analytical Group, specifically our IoT & Electromechanical division, has secured the Yachting Installation 4.0 Project. This initiative is co-financed by the POR FESR Toscana 2014-2020 (ASSE 1 – LINEA DI AZIONE 1.1.5) and is a collaboration with Cubit, ICAD, Yatchica, Penta, and 9dot.
Project Objectives
The Yachting Installation 4.0 Project aims to develop an advanced onboard system for yachts, optimizing costs and energy consumption while integrating innovative technologies to offer new services and standards in production, performance, and maintenance management. The primary objectives include:
- Advanced IoT Architecture for Nautical Applications:
- Develop an IoT architecture to manage radio communications and system resources efficiently.
- Overall Energy Efficiency:
- Enhance the energy efficiency of the technological systems onboard a yacht.
- Monitoring New Onboard Parameters:
- Implement systems to monitor additional parameters of the yacht.
- Installation and Maintenance Efficiency:
- Improve the installation processes of onboard technologies and systems, both during production and maintenance phases.
- Lifecycle Efficiency:
- Study and improve the lifecycle efficiency of technologies and the yacht itself.
- Data Management Platform Development:
- Develop a comprehensive data management platform for the yacht’s systems.
- Certified Quality Procedure Development:
- Conduct regulatory and operational studies to establish a certified quality procedure.
