IECEE CB Scheme: Our Laboratory is a CBTL
The Certification Body (CB) Scheme, established by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), aims to streamline international trade. This is achieved through the adoption of a common methodology and the acceptance of certificates and test reports for electrical and electronic devices, facilitating the entry of products into global markets without the need for additional testing or certifications, thereby avoiding extra costs.
Having a CB certification means that a device is permitted for sale in all member states of the IECEE CB system. This opens significant commercial opportunities, allowing faster access to the markets of over 50 countries that recognize the CB scheme. This system is managed and monitored by the IECEE, with active participation from both member states and national certification bodies. Even in many developing countries where the CB scheme has not yet been formally adopted, the test reports are still recognized.

Roles and Functions of CBTLs
A Certification Body Testing Laboratory (CBTL) is a key component of the system, being a qualified IECEE laboratory that conducts compliance tests according to international IEC safety standards, including specific national deviations. These laboratories play a crucial role in ensuring that electrical and electronic devices comply with current international regulations.
Analytical and CB Certification
Analytical operates as a CBTL (Certification Body Testing Laboratory), offering testing and reporting services according to the CB scheme and supporting certification by NCB DEKRA. This enables manufacturers to ensure the acceptance of their devices in international markets through the CB test report and the associated certification scheme.
