The course
The ZDHC Chemical Management Fundamentals Training is the reference program for professionals working in chemical management across the production chain. Designed for participants at various experience levels, it provides the theoretical foundations and practical tools needed to correctly apply the ZDHC program within your organization.
It is the recognized prerequisite for accessing advanced ZDHC courses, as well as the ideal starting point for building solid, certified expertise on the subject.

The course is aimed at professionals working in quality, sustainability, procurement, and supply chain functions at manufacturing companies, particularly in the textile and apparel sector. It is suitable both for those approaching the ZDHC program for the first time and for those wishing to formalize and certify skills they already have.

The course covers three main modules:
- ZDHC Supplier Roadmap to Zero (RtZ)
Structure and logic of the ZDHC program. Practical use of the RtZ digital tool. How to implement it within company processes. - Managing restricted substances
MRSL (Manufacturing Restricted Substances List) vs. RSL (Restricted Substances List): definitions and differences. Compliance requirements and practical application across the supply chain. - GHS and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
Fundamentals of the Globally Harmonized System. Reading and interpreting SDS. Document management and regulatory obligations.

Certification
Upon passing the final test, participants receive the official ZDHC certificate. Attendance at both sessions is required to obtain the certificate; registration must be completed directly by the participant through the Academy, as the name entered at registration will be the one shown on the final certificate. The exam fee is already included in the course fee.
