Inoltre, i metalli presenti nelle attrezzature di lavorazione e nei materiali di imballaggio possono contribuire alla contaminazione degli alimenti.<\/p><p>Gli alimenti di origine vegetale, essendo in contatto con il suolo e l&#8217;acqua, tendono ad accumulare maggiormente i metalli pesanti. Tra questi alimenti troviamo: frutta e verdura, cereali, caff\u00e8, cacao, acqua potabile.
